There have already been a large number of recognizable actors added to DC's upcoming team-up film, but it's time to tack one more name up on that list.
Justice League, which already has Ciarán Hinds and Jason Momoa, has another Game Of Thrones alum set to appear. Actor Michael McElhatton, who played Game Of Thrones character Roose Bolton, confirmed in an interview with Red Carpet TV News his addition to the cast for Justice League:
“I can’t really tell you anything about that. Who knows, maybe they’re doing reshoots? I can’t really say, but it looks pretty amazing.” McElhatton said.
"The scene I did… Well at the moment I can say it’s a big kind of opening scene. It was pretty dark actually, in its tone. But in a good way…I quite like that. It wasn’t comic book-y, but you can thread a certain amount of humor in it, which maybe [Batman v Superman] was lacking."
When questioned on Zack Snyder himself, McElhatton seemingly couldn’t sing the director’s praises enough:
“He just lives for those comic books. He absolutely adores them and he’s an aficionado. He knows exactly what he wants and yet he is amazingly loose and open to suggestions from actors. There was an enormous amount of freedom with it.”
Hopefully more details regarding the Game Of Thrones star's role will come to light before the film hits theaters in November. Until then, you can catch Michael McElhatton in Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword this May.
